There is a white E36 that keeps blasting by my house that sounds like it has no muffler and only 5/6 cylinders firing. Yet the douchebro keeps revving the beejesus out of the damn thing. It's also missing the front bumper and might have a broken suspension. It's so fucking awful.

There's a local Genesis that does similar in my apartment complex. It's especially sad when there are vehicles that produce truly glorious sound from here too (but they're all polite.) Might be why it happens after all.

I posted once about a V8-swapped S14 down my street that my neighbor would drive in and out of the neighborhood constantly. I liked it then, and I liked it even better when he got a loud exhaust that I could hear from half a mile away; however, I was a little concerned about how much more he wanted to hoon the car on our street, as I thought he might hit another car or pedestrian and he was fond of taking the car out at night. I think that a housemate/neighbor/cop finally told him to cut the shit due to it being noisy and/or dangerous, as he got quiet around late December - I thought that he'd even changed the exhaust back to a milder one.

He resumed hooning up and down our street a couple of weeks ago, though; I'm not as worried about him hitting anything/anyone at this point, but I hope any other problems don't lead to the installation of speed bumps on our street.

There's an early 90's Z28 near me that goes to work at 5AM. He likes to start it and let it heat up for 10 minutes before heading out, and man does that exhaust drone like crazy. Sometimes I wake up when he starts it up, and am just drifting back to sleep when he leaves, always making sure to rev it 3-4 times more than necessary and leaving. It must not be for another 4 blocks before I stop hearing his obnoxiously loud car. I hate it.
